Darren Hayes: “I burst in tears when my agent called me to let me know you folks sold out both shows in 20 minutes. I am so grateful. I have had an extremely challenging year and I had so badly needed something to put on my dream board to look forward to. I don’t take anything for granted. Not not you, my health or any guarantee that I would sell concert tickets. I understand and I’m so flattered that a lot more people wanted to purchase tickets than were available. I hope you can understand there will be a time in the future where I am physically mentally and emotionally strong enough to do a proper tour but at the moment I’m taking baby steps Back from hell. I would not have made it through the wilderness without your love and support and I promise you I’m going to pay you back tenfold with more music and more live shows around the world when I am back in full fighting form. I love you so much.”

Kristin’s thoughts: I’m so pleased to learn that the show is sold out; considering everything Darren has faced, it’s heartwarming to see him experience something positive in his life. I really wish I could have gone to one of his concerts, but it just didn’t work out for me. Nonetheless, I feel fortunate that he continues to create music, and for that, I am truly thankful.
